Advanced Microscopic Learning Tools
Six Australian universities have been successful in their bid to the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) to develop a national blended learning program for advanced microscopic characterisation enabling students to develop skills in imaging, quantification and analysis of materials.
The universities involved in the project are UQ, Australian National University, Flinders University, the University of New South Wales, the University of Sydney and the University of Western Australia. The Centre’s role in this project will be to work with colleagues in these universities to design and develop a national bank of e-learning tools to complement traditional learning activities.
The project begins in May 2010 and will be completed by May 2012.
