Based in the Faculty of Biological and Chemical Sciences, the Centre develops innovative software tools and products for use in research, training and decision support.

The Centre's R&D activity focuses on identification and diagnostic software (Lucid, Phoenix, Fact Sheet Fusion, IdentifyLife) and on problem based learning software (PBL-Interactive). CBIT distributes its software tools and products through its online shop and provides related support and training services.
